Kevin Costner to Cough Up $129K Per Month

Kevin Costner’s divorce proceedings have gotten costlier after he was ordered to pay hefty child support payments.

Per legal documents filed on Tuesday, 11 July, Judge Thomas Anderle ruled that Costner must pay his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, an eye-watering $129 755 per month in support of their three children: 16-year-old Cayden, 14-year-old Hayes and 13-year-old Grace.

What’s more, “The Bodyguard” actor was ordered to pay $200 000 in attorney’s fees and $100 000 in forensic costs.

Sixty-eight-year-old Costner must cough up the child support payments on the “first of each month”. While the amount is considerably less than what Baumgartner was demanding ($248 000), it’s more than double the amount he’s currently paying ($51 940).

At the very least, both he and the 49-year-old handbag designer are shouldering the costs in terms of their children’s healthcare expenses, as well as their sports and extracurricular activities.

Still, it may or may not prove to be a strain on Costner’s finances, due to his diminishing earnings from his role in the soon-to-be-ending TV show “Yellowstone”. Not to mention his claims that he is covering Baumgartner’s personal expenses including cosmetic procedures and shopping trips.
